At 2:35 a.m. today, the commercial AIS (Automatic Identification of Ships) maritime satellite "Heide 1", jointly developed by Beijing Heide Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. and the Shanghai Academy of Space Technology, was successfully launched by the Long March 4C carrier rocket from China's Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center and entered the scheduled orbit smoothly. The reporter learned from Heide Aerospace that all technical indicators of the satellite are normal, and the in-orbit debugging test work is carried out in an intense and smooth manner. 

"Heide No. 1" is the first commercial AIS maritime satellite in China, and also the first satellite developed with highly integrated design concept ("exquisite" satellite platform). The satellite adopts the innovative technology of "virtualization of platform and softwareization of function", and realizes a qualitative leap from miniaturization to miniaturization in terms of technological innovation and application capability through highly integrated, combined and modularized design. The advanced AIS system configured by the satellite is at the leading level in the world, which has a good detection rate for high-density and medium-density areas of ships, and can decode 2 million messages from no less than 60,000 ships per day on average. 

The ground receiving station of "HET-1" satellite is located in Shanghai, which is used for telemetry and telecontrol of the satellite, and completes the complete downlinking and distribution of the AIS data received on the satellite. The data processing center of HETE is located in Beijing, which realizes efficient storage and distribution of real-time and historical data, and forms a visualization application platform by combining with ground/navigation charts for in-depth development of all relevant application fields.
